The Humley is currently approved for use on public roads in all European countries.

The Freeze, Curve, Force and Extreme are not approved but could be approved in the near future via the NEN guidelines for European member states.

All unapproved scooters may of course be used on own properties, in their own warehouse or horticultural greenhouses, hospitals etc.

The Extreme and Humley are equipped with pneumatic tires. These can be repaired in the usual way.

All our scooters are provided with an error code message. You can see what the message means in the user manual and what you can do to fix this.

A helmet is not mandatory in the Netherlands for vehicles under 25 km/h. This does not detract from the fact that we are always at the forefront of safety and advise to wear protective clothing, a helmet and the like. 25 km/h is quite fast and with the relatively small wheels it is advised to be very careful. Do not do weird things with the scooter, pay attention for your own safety and that of other road users.

Our Skotero scooters are of high quality. Nevertheless, we recommend checking the most important components every week. Do you not see any fractures or are all bolts and nuts still secure? What about the wear of the wheels?

The scooters are suitable for use during normal rain showers. But no scooter is waterproof. The scooter is easy to clean with a damp cloth.

Make also sure that the anti-slip layer on the footboard is coarse and not slippery by mud or other filth. Check the rear brake and the engine brake for performance.

Finally, make sure that the battery is recharged every now and then and free of frost after long periods of time.

The batteries of the Skotero scooters are of high quality and of LG or Life4po. The batteries can always be recharged in between without any problems. It is not a problem to charge at the office with the battery charger in your bag. It does not shorten the life of these great batteries.

That question is easy to answer. 16 years or older. For all vehicles that can independently reach speeds of 25 km/h, this age is regulated by Dutch law.

Only 1 person is allowed to ride on a scooter. The maximum weight and the endangerment are all factors in question.
